Our Story

A group of bright, determined and like-minded women set out to create an organization which allowed us to serve our community while simultaneously providing a safe space to foster the growth of sisterhood and in February of 2021, Nu Eta Chi Sorority was established. In December 2022, Nu Eta Chi Sorority was incorporated. We are a non collegiate organization based in Sacramento with members reaching from the Greater Bay Area to Southern California.

Our Sorority represents a group of diverse women who always strive for the highest level of excellence as our founders intended. Shared goals and interests in areas of service, academics and building solid relationships with our sisters hold our chapters together and define who we are.

In the current climate, health and wellness has become a major topic of discussion and NHX has decided to take a seat at the table. In an effort to support BIPOC in their health journey, we have chosen to focus our philanthropic efforts on promoting mental health and wellness.

Nu Eta Chi Sorority Inc. is an organization for women who were born female and does not discriminate based on age, race, national origin, religious beliefs, sexual preference, and/or disability.  We are a non-hazing organization and do not tolerate such behavior.
